Born in 1962, but young in spirit, Francesca first heard the call of adventure as a child thanks to her Grandfather Camillo, a book lover, who used to give her Emilio Salgari adventure novels by the dozen. She loved them so much she actually made a point of waking up in the middle of the night to read the capers of Sandokan and the Black Corsar. By pure chance she had adventure at her side all along her working life as well. TV author, copy writer, expedition organizer and a keen traveler in her private life, she feels at ease in the world. And she thanks Heaven (and Granfather Camillo) for this invaluable gift.
