From France to Germany, Belgium and Switzerland, to a most important Italian parenthesis at the Don Alfonso 1890 restaurant in Sant’Agata sui due Golfi, Naples, a place that stole the Chef’s heart.
The rich working experience matured in Italy and abroad compelled him to try and create something of his own, something to reflect his style and philosophy. In March 2011 a magnificent Liberty villa in the center of Gallarate became the setting for the new Ilario Vinciguerra Restaurant, a place born out of the pressing need to evolve both in terms of space and cuisine, and never stop growing. It earned him a Michelin star in 2014, and reconfirmed ever since.
MY CUISINE IS GENUINE, IT HAS AN IMMEDIATE APPEAL, AT THE SAME TIME TRADITIONAL AND MODERN. IT’S ALWAYS EVOLVING AND SURPRISING, YET ALWAYS IN TOUCH WITH THE INGREDIENTS AND COLOURS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN.
