Fifty years old, Riccardo has been serving in the Carabinieri for 32 years. He loves idioms, holds a degree in Modern Languages, speaks English, Portuguese and is studying Hindi. He works as an elite component attached to Italian diplomatic missions, and is presently posted at the Johannesburg General Consulate. He has been living in South Africa for two years, a fascinating country he has already visited far and wide. Based on his experience, he is going to dispense advice to the team, who affectionately dub him “the insider” of the Xtractor expedition. In his free time he serves as president of a charity whose volunteers are all members of the Carabinieri corps, and whose projects operate in various countries. In South Africa they are involved in an orphanage, a school for autistic children and a football school.
